Land Values in Killarney Gardens set to continue to increase

EIGHT SALES: Leon Venter of Diamond Properties recently sold eight pieces of vacant land in Racing Park, Killarney Gardens, measuring 12317m2 for R12.4 Million. Racing Park has been a hugely successful development with both user/owners and investors having bought land there over the past year. The value of land at Racing Park more than doubled in 2006 and land values have increased by a further 32% in 2007. Leon comments that the land value is set to continue to increase over the next 18 months as there is very little land available to develop in the area. It’s a simple scenerio of no supply coupled with a very high demand for industrial land in the area. There is also a lot of talk about a possible new interchange on the N7 that will link through to Parklands.
